Bryan was born and raised in Calgary Alberta. He spent 37 years in the "paper industry" before retiring to Courtenay in 2007.

Along with his wife Elaine, who also enjoys golf, Bryan played at the Derrick Golf & Winter Club in Edmonton for many years followed by a short time at Quilchina Golf Club in Richmond, BC before coming to Crown Isle.

Bryan and Elaine have three children and three wonderful grandchildren who always enjoy visiting with them here in the Comox Valley.
