Born and raised in England, Allan has been in Canada since 1982 where he lived and worked in Alberta until he retired and moved to Courtenay in 2007.
Allan first came to Courtenay for a tee-time in 2005, liked it so much he bought a place and made plans to be here for a lifetime

His wife Sandra is also a keen golfer. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.
